07 Mar Brent Wolverton Joins Leede Jones Gable
The former chair and chief investment officer of Wolverton Securities has started a new chapter in his lifelong investment career. By joining Leede Jones Gable in Vancouver, Brent says he’s making a change to find some of the fun he remembers, with less formality and more focus on the investment advisor experience.
Brent entered the business as a teenager, and led the firm his grandfather started in 1910 for more than thirty years. Over that time Wolverton Securities developed interests in algorithmic trading, managed money and responsible investing. Brent has served in both Canada and the US as CEO, CFO, CCO, FinCEN and Fintrac Liaison, Chief Portfolio Officer and Supervising Insurance Principal.
Always focused on improving the IA experience and performance through rational firm support, Wolverton Securities grew to more than 150 employees in 14 offices in western Canada, with over a billion dollars in assets.
