Riley Newport is an Associate Portfolio Manager at Leede Jones Gable. He provides discretionary investment services to families, business owners, entrepreneurs, and retirees. Riley works closely with his clients to identify investment goals and risk tolerance, and specializes in building portfolios that reflect those needs. He is passionate about investing, but it is the personal relationship he builds with each client, through earned trust, that brings the most joy. Ultimately, Riley helps clients dedicate more time and energy to their family, career, and retirement.

Prior to joining Leede, Riley was a private investor, hunting for great investments and managing his portfolio. He has also worked at leading full-service investment firms, where he helped operate hedge funds and investment strategies, and served families and individuals.

While at the University of California, Davis, Riley studied history, was a Division I Student-Athlete, a member of the Investment Club and on the Deans Honors List. He also won the History Citation Award, Scholar-Athlete Award, and Student Entrepreneurship Competition.

Riley grew up in North Vancouver, BC, and lives with his family in Vancouver. When not digging into company financials, he enjoys golfing, skiing, and other adventures.
