Leede Jones Gable vice president, Glenn Beitz, presented the Children’s Aid Foundation of Thunder Bay with a gift of $2,000 over the holidays.
Rick Lang, president and former curling champion, accepted the cheque on behalf of the foundation.
“They were very appreciative of our support,” said Glenn.
The Children’s Aid Foundation helps students who are, or have been, in care with the Children’s Aid Society, with the costs of post-secondary bursaries, driver’s education, and recreational programs such as hockey, dance, soccer and martial arts. Families are also supported through the provision of mattresses, cribs, food and infant formula to help meet the immediate physical needs of their children.
